Where Yagluth’s altar spawns
Verified (1.0): Yagluth has no real weakness — blunt, slash and frost all land at full value — while he resists fire, strongly resists pierce and is immune to poison and stagger. Solo scaling is the minimum — no other players in the 100m radius at first hit, so his effective health is as low as it gets.
The solo loop
Yagluth is a stationary caster, so the fight is a rhythm of space and priority:
- Keep the slam’s shockwave range — stay on the move and reposition after every ground slam.
- Kill the skeletons before the boss — the moment one rises, it is the priority, not him.
- Manage the burning ground — drink the fire mead before the summon, keep an extinguishing escape route, and never stand still through the meteor swarm.
The boss is the easy half. The open Plains are the other half — every mob that wanders in is a near-certain hit when you are mid-dodge.
Why this differs from a group fight
In a group, one player holds the boss’s attention while another clears adds and a third pulls the lox off. Solo, you are doing all three at once:
- The skeletons are the real boss — nobody else is clearing them, so each one is a death if it lands on your dodge.
- Fire mead is non-negotiable — you are fighting the burning ground with nobody to top you up.
- The approach is part of the fight — clearing a Fuling village solo for the totems is a real fight; budget for it and clear each village before you loot it.

Buy me a coffeeFrequently asked questions
- What is the best weapon to solo Yagluth?
- Any blunt or slash weapon at your best tier — he has no real damage-type weakness, so blunt, slash and frost all deal full damage. Avoid building around pierce (quarter damage) or fire (half damage). The weapon matters less than the fire-resistance mead and your skeleton management.
- Why do players keep dying to Yagluth solo?
- Two things: the skeleton summons and the walking mobs. Solo there is nobody to clear adds or pull aggro, so a skeleton rising mid-dodge, or a lox or Fuling party wandering into the open Plains, is what ends the run. Clear the area before the summon and treat every skeleton as the top priority.
- Do I need fire resistance to solo Yagluth?
- Yes. His meteor swarm sets the ground on fire across the arena, and he is resistant to your fire damage anyway. A fire-resistance mead active before the summon keeps the burning ground from stacking damage on you — without it the second half of the fight is you fighting the fire as much as the boss.
- How long does Yagluth take solo?
- With a blunt or slash weapon, an active fire mead and good skeleton management, a solo kill is typically around 5–10 minutes. The fight itself is short; the long pole is collecting the five Fuling Totems across the Plains, which takes several village or camp raids.
