Gear checklist

  • Fire bow or weapon — the weak point. No frost.
  • Frost resistance (Wolf Fur Cape or Wolf armor) so the biome does not kill you mid-fight.
  • High-stamina meal set; summon with 3× Dragon Egg on flat summit ground.

The fight loop

  1. Keep your back to open ground, never a cliff lip.
  2. When she circles, expect the dive-bomb — reposition, do not stand still.
  3. Dodge the ice breath cone and keep moving through the blizzard.
  4. Land fire damage at range while she turns.

Common mistakes

  • Bringing frost — she is immune to it.
  • Fighting near a cliff edge and getting knocked off.
  • No frost resistance, so the Mountain drains you during the fight.

What is the easiest way to kill Moder?
Fire damage at range. She is immune to frost, so a fire bow lets you keep distance from the dive-bomb while you reposition away from the cliff edge.
Why do I keep dying to Moder?
Most Moder deaths are positional — falling off the summit or letting frost stack while cornered. Keep your back to open ground, sort frost resistance first, and never trade hits near a cliff lip.
