The Ashlands biome itself is the difficulty check — lava, heat and charred enemies kill unprepared parties before Fader appears.
Locate the coliseum using the Vegvisir in the Charred Fortress.
Place 3 Bells at the coliseum — each Bell is crafted from 3 Bell Fragments.

What Fader drops

The documented drops are the Fader Relic (x5) — the Ashlands progression item, in the same role the Wishbone, Dragon Tear and Torn Spirit play earlier — plus the Fader Trophy. Fader is resistant to pierce and immune to fire, spirit and stagger (he cannot be staggered), so bring blunt, slash, frost, lightning or poison damage and keep heat/fire protection up for the environment.

Player trading melee hits with Fader while frost effects cover the coliseum arena — The element shift: when the arena turns to frost, frost damage lands at full strength — that is your window to trade.

Spikes erupting across the coliseum floor while the player weaves between them — When the bar refills, the spike rain starts — move through the gaps instead of trying to tank it.

Fader firing a green beam across the coliseum as fire and frost effects collide — The arena's worst moment: the green beam wall into the fire-meets-frost burst. Step out, keep heat protection up, and re-engage when it passes.
