Biome area — “Median” means the zone and all eight of its neighbours must share the biome, so it never generates on a biome border; “Everything” may place anywhere inside the biome.
Footprint is the exclusion radius the generator keeps clear around the piece, not the size of the structure you walk into.
Per world counts placement attempts, so a number here is an upper bound — terrain checks decide how many actually land (see the sampled-worlds figures above). unique is a separate flag: the table checks it once before placement begins, to skip re-rolling these on a world that already exists, and it does not cap the attempts a fresh world makes.
Terrain tolerance — the generator allows up to 40 m of height change across the footprint (no minimum) .
